Denise

* Denise Mwiza * Female * 15 years old * 7. grade * Refugee * Have both parents * Level of need medium * Graduation year Denise Mwiza came from Democratic Republic of Congo together with her parent in 2009. She is the third children from 8 children, 5 girls and 3 boys but another child was died because my parent were failed to provide food, she died of hunger when we spent days without eating. Her parents are poor and are not able to feed them where they eat once day and are unable to to pay her school fees. Her parent depended on digging other people garden but land were given to other new arrival of refugee who came from congo. Now, her parent depend on $6 as food ratio from world food problem. Her sister dropped out of school when she was only remaining with 2 years to graduate class due to lack of money for paying school fees Denise is one of the best student girl in class where she likes mathematic. She work so hard because she want to become a lawyer after completing her education. She likes debating and is in debate club at school. She is only worried of school fees to complete her primary school and she hope to pass national examination to join secondary school in 2023.
Lackicha

* Lackicha Prisca * Female * 12 years old * 5. grade * Refugee * Have both parents * Level of need medium * 3 years to graduation Lakicha Prisca, 12 years old refugee Sudanese by nationality. Prisca was born in kyangwali and live with both parents and her siblings. She has a leg problem (disabled girl) that was caused by a car accident. Her dream is to become a Nurse because she want to treat people who have difficulty sickness including her sick leg. Her parent failed to raise money for her to get proper medication of her leg and are unable to to pay her school fees.
Toni

* Toni Blaire * Male * 16 years old * 7. grade * Refugee * Have both parents * Level of need medium * Graduation year Toni Blaire,16 years old boy refugee Sudanese by nationality born in Kyangwali Refugee settlement. He is in his final grade to complete his primary school. Toni stays with his both parents and siblings in nyambogo village in kyangwali. His parent were forced to flee their home county South Sudan the war that made millions of people killed. He has leg problem that he was born with. His parent failed to raise medication fees needed to take him to hospital in town for leg scanning and operation. He lives in pain and cries. He like mathematics and his dream is to become an engineer.
Lokolong

* Lokolong Gilbert * Male * 16 years old * 7. grade * Refugee * Have both parents * Level of need medium * Last year primary school Lokolong Gilbert is South Sudanese refugee boy born in Uganda on 11April 2006 live together with both parent. Gilbert is from a big family and was the second child born out of seven children. When the war started in South Sudan his parents flee to Uganda and settled in Northern Uganda until were transferred by UNHCR to Kyangwali refugee camp. His parent were given land to when we reached the camp but it was given to new refugees. He is talented in electrical installation and in his future, he want to become an electrical engineer so that he can provide light to Africa from darkness. His parent are not able to pay his school fees since the only need on $6 received from World food program.
Daniella

* Daniella Esther * Female * 12 years old * 4. grade * Refugee * Have both parents * Level of need high * 3 years to graduate primary school * Sister og Gabriella and Grace Daniella Esther female Congolese refugee, born in 2010 in Bukavu-South Kivu in DRC. Currently in primary 4 at Kasonga primary school, I fled from civil war in Congo since 12th/July/2018 and registered in Uganda by UNHCR & OPM as a refugee. I really love school but am unable to join a good school for a better education due to my family poverty, my dad has a mental problem and my mom was the only one looking after the family but also she got cut by a carpentry machine that makes her unable to look after us anymore, I wish I could get a good education to reach out my dream, which is to be a Nurse but am seeing as if it won't succeed since all my parents are unable to look after us. But I really feel so sad to see that my dad has a mental illness that makes us not believing that we shall one day be whom we want to be.
Gabriella

* Gabriella Luwa * Female * 12 years old * 3. grade * Refugee * Have both parents * Level of need high * 4 years to graduation primary school * Sister to Daniella and Grace Gabriella Luwa came together with her parent from Bukavu-south kivu in DRC July 2018. She fled from civil war in Congo when the rebel attached her village, burnt houses and killing hundred of people. She really love school but am unable to join a good school for a better education due to my family poverty, Father has a sick problem and my mom was the only one looking after the family but also she got cut by a carpentry machine that makes her unable to look after us anymore. She wish could get a sponsor to reach her dream of becoming a minister so that her community and wished to see wish her parents healed.
Grace

* Grace Mugoli * Female * 14 years old * 5. grade * Refugee * Have both parents * Level of need high * 2 years to graduation primary school * Ssister to Daniella and Gabriella Grace Mugoli is the first child of four children, Congolese refugee by nationality was born when her parent were fleeing civil war in Democratic Republic of Congo in 2008. She really love school but her parent are unable to take her to school because they’re poor and her father got metal problem during the war that forced him not to work. Her mother is the only one looking after the family but no now she can’t because she was cut her hand when she was learning carpentry. In the future, she wants to become a nurse and work in a hospital where she can help treat people and help her parent healed. She only remains with 2 grades to graduation from primary to secondary school. She likes enjoying singing song that makes her happier.
Sharif

* Sharif Juma * Male * 18 years old * 2. grade secondary school * Refugee * Have both parents * Level of need high * 3 years to graduation secondary school Sharif Juma,is disabled Congolese refugee by nationality reached in kyangwali refugee settlement, Uganda in 2009 to seek for peace after fleeing civil war  from Democratic Republic of Congo and that caused death of many people including his grand father, uncles and other relatives in his home country. Juma is a lame of the left leg and this disability attacked him when he was primary six in 2016 where he can’t walk long distances to school. He was in secondary two but due to the poverty and lack of financial support, he was forced to drop out from school. He love studies because his dream is to become a doctor because he want to help saving people’s lives especially disabled people. He completed his primary school from P4T Primary School where he got super second grade with 14 aggregates in National final Primary Leaving Examination in 2019 but failed to continue with his studies because his parent were not able to afford to pay school tuition. He dropped out when he has reached in senior two class and he now home when his fellow are at school studying.
